We are a Cheshire based dog training company that offers a wide range of services to accommodate all dogs and issues from Private 121 Lessons to Full training courses. We believe that every dog deserves to be happy and healthy, so we aim to create strong positive relationships between owners and their pets based on mutual trust and respect.
With over 7 years of experience handling a multitude of breeds and issues using balanced training techniques, we are confident we can transform your dog and your relationship for the better.
Oliver our founder owns 3 dogs of his own, Samba a 12 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Chapo a 2 year old American Bully and the youngest 6 month old Rogue a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Rescuing Samba 8 years ago as a reactive dog led him to dedicate his time to understanding dog behaviour and training techniques resulting in a much more well-mannered, confident Samba.
OUR SERVICES
We have a variety of training services available that can be customised after an initial assessment, but to keep things simple they fall into two categories, Private 121 sessions, or a Fundamentals Course.
Below are our recommended training plans for the most common training issues.

121 TRAINING
Our 1-2-1 training courses are bespoke to each dog and owner. During 1-2-1 sessions we prioritise skills the owner would like to improve or introduce to their dog, such as; lead walking, threshold, recall, crate, place training resource guarding and general obedience.
121 Training is an ideal solution for pets who are nervous or have issues within the home.
All 1-2-1 Training requires an initial behaviour assessment.
FUNDAMENTALS
Our Fundamentals training courses are customised for each dog. Every client and dog are taken through an assessment, and a suitable program is developed uniquely for them. Fundamentals courses allow for a much more intense training schedule as they are designed to teach your dog fundamental skills and behaviours quickly for you to be a stress free dog owner. Courses are available 3 & 5 days and include initial assessment and 1 hour 121 training handover.
During the training course, your dog will spend all day with Oliver. Being collected between 7:30-9 am and returned between 4:00-5:30 pm (collections and drop off times can be amended slightly)
REACTIVITY & AGGRESSION
For those dogs who have substantial behavioural problems including human/dog aggression, handler aggression, or are reactive on lead we would recommend both 121 Private sessions, our 5 day Fundamentals course, or a mix of both. A bespoke training plan will be created after an initial assessment. It's important to remember complex issues rarely have a quick fix and will require the owner to continue with training outside of any sessions for ultimate behaviour modification.

Oscar my 2 year old French bulldog has been reactive to people and dogs since 10 months old. This has been very stressful, we no longer have people in the house and walking him can be very difficult with him screaming and lunging at passing dogs. Ollie recommended that oscar should complete a 4 day course to build up his confidence and help him to reduce his anxieties. During the initial assessment Oscar displayed his reactive behaviours which Ollie was not phased at all by... but by drop off on day 4 Oscar ran over to him for kisses which was lovely to see as he is fearful of all new people! Ollie recommended a different lead for when we are out and has taught me the techniques he used during his sessions. I am aware that Oscar’s behaviour will not instantly change, but I already feel much more confident with him in public and Ollie will be returning to help me work with his issues within the house. I cannot thank Ollie enough for his patience, care and understanding and would 100% recommend his company to anyone who is also struggling with reactivity.

Luna was super reactive on lead with other dogs and strangers, as well as new people in the house. Ollie instantly was able to correct our lead technique, to keep Luna engaged with us at all times, this building her confidence when walking past dogs/humans that she would once react too.
Luna’s anxiety has reduced significantly since the training and is continuing to improve each day.
I couldn’t recommend Rogue Canine enough, Ollie is always at the end of the phone for extra support and tips, as well as flexible with times to fit in with our schedule.
